Today we’re talking about… LEVERAGE.

First what is leverage? According to BusinessDictionary.com leverage is:

The ability to influence a system, or an environment, in a way that multiplies the outcome of one’s efforts without a corresponding increase in the consumption of resources. In other words, leverage is the advantageous condition of having a relatively small amount of cost yield a relatively high level of returns.

So whether you’re planning to publishing your own digital magazine – or not – we want you to set higher standards for the strategies you DO decide to employ.

When evaluating what to do next, look for the strategy that has legs, the one(s) that will lead to multiple benefits (i.e. the ones that aren’t a one-trick pony).

Growing your online business doesn’t have to be hard – especially when you begin to minimize your effort and maximize the effect. That’s the big benefit of leverage.

When I first adopted this lens I would look for at least 3 ways I could benefit from each individual action. Today, my standards have raised to 5.

The point is – if you’re going to do something, REALLY do it. Squeeze the most out of every decision you make and action you take.
